Life today is pounding along at such an unbelievable pace .. with events taking place each day to the degree it is hard to keep up with it all.  

The political climate of today seems as volatile as gasoline standing a heartbeat away from a flame.

Sometimes it is good to have a solid voice of reason to bring things back in to proper focus after our sensitivities have been bombarded from all sides with what more often than not is just plain mindboggling ignorance.

Where is that solid voice of reason?

Where is common sense?

Here we try to keep a grip of some sort on it with the hopes that we will all be able to weather this storm and that our lives as we know them are solid enough to keep from capsizing completely.
