The best path forward is to drop it .. we the people do not want it …. yet even after the Brown election in Massachusetts .. they do not get it.
And now here is a voice straight from the gate…. an email to Talking Points Memo from a current Senate staffer following the election of Scott Brown in Massachusetts … and this one paragraph seems to say it all….
The worst is that I can’t help but feel like the main emotion people in the caucus are feeling is relief at this turn of events. Now they have a ready excuse for not getting anything done. While I always thought we had the better ideas but the weaker messaging, it feels like somewhere along the line Members internalized a belief that we actually have weaker ideas. They’re afraid to actually implement them and face the judgement of the voters. That’s the scariest dynamic and what makes me think this will all come crashing down around us in November.
So.. somewhere inside .. they know what the people want and don’t want.
Why do they not concur to that?
It seems it would make their working days so much more pleasant.
Some got the message … Three Democrats back effort to halt the regulation of greenhouse gases.
Perhaps the Brown election gave some Democrats badly needed courage ….. White House caught in Democrat’s crossfire….
Democrats ask Obama to extend Bush tax cuts.… just plain scared?
And… a vote for freedom … The Supreme Court votes in favor of First Amendment …
after all … ”The First Amendment confirms the freedom to think for ourselves”.
However .. .there are those who will never get it …. Senate being asked to change the filibuster rules…
have to get beyond this supermajority loss somehow…..
Now quit blaming everything but the truth for what happened last week… and see it for what it was…… NOW cries about the health bill.
We the people love our freedom.
Have you forgotten why this country was formed in the first place?
Do you not know the history of the Revolutionary War?
Do you not know that every freedom you are trying to strip away really will affect you one day too?
It is time to get real… so what does Obama do?
He hits the campaign trail to make another speech filled with more and more empty promises and shallow explanations of his actions … propaganda to attempt to make himself once more appear as something he absolutely is not….
