Climategate And The Press

“Climategate” is something to be completely ignored as far as our liberal seemingly anti American citizen press is concerned.

However .. we do have watchdogs out there for us … including at least one Democrat Senator.  Follows is his letter of concern sent to Obama ..which as of this has not been responded to by Obama.

Dear Mr. President:

I would like to express my concern regarding reports that the Administration may believe it has the unilateral power to commit the government of the United States to certain standards that may be agreed upon at the upcoming United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Conference of Parties 15 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The phrase “politically binding” has been used.

Although details have not been made available, recent statements by Special Envoy on Climate Change Todd Stern indicate that negotiators may be intending to commit the United States to a nationwide emission reduction program. As you well know from your time in the Senate, only specific legislation agreed upon in the Congress, or a treaty ratified by the Senate, could actually create such a commitment on behalf of our country.

I would very much appreciate having this matter clarified in advance of the Copenhagen meetings.

Sincerely,

Jim Webb
United States Senator

Senator Webb is not alone in his concern.

Skeptics press Obama on climate summit…

Perhaps there are some Democrats who are beginning to wish their party was a whole lot more the “party of no”.

It is not hard to imagine what fun the press would be having today if the person in the White House were from the real “party of no” .. is it?

Climategate and the press would be one … alive and loud … as it well should be irregardless of who is in the Oval Office today.

Politics should have no say above our freedom … above our American way of life … a way of life that has been bought at the cost of thousands upon thousands of lives … all over the world.

Suppressing climategate and committing out country to something that is based on nothing but nonsense and fraud is a greater danger to all of us than most of us probably can even know.
