The makeover of the country’s healthcare system by Obama has been likened to what could be his Waterloo… a comparison made by Senator John DeMint of S. Carolina. Obama openly denied it.
Now however … the following report has come out… revealing just how close to reality that statement could be… and just how important this healthcare do over is to Obama .. in his eyes.
“Let’s just lay everything on the table,” Grassley said. “A Democrat congressman last week told me after a conversation with the president that the president had trouble in the House of Representatives, and it wasn’t going to pass if there weren’t some changes made … and the president says, ‘You’re going to destroy my presidency.’ ”
Of course .. knowing Obama … could this have been a calculated remark that he really wanted to get out .. another “pressure point” to use against his Democrat rebellers .. a veiled warning?
Put nothing past him… but of course .. this is not “about him”.
