“The issue here is still: Is tolerance a two-way street or not?”

This statement by Governor Pence of Indiana when responding to questions concerning the Indiana state law protecting religious rights is of course what the issue always has been in the conflict between those who would infringe upon anyone’s rights to make sure theirs are met and those who just want their rights preserved along with all others’.

Is it a question of the gays and atheists having the power to knock down the religious rights of of those who are doing their best to follow their own convictions of faith?

Is it a question of allowing those who have no religious belief to force those who do to swallow that belief for their convenience?

These people of faith are in no way trying to push their beliefs down anyone’s throats.  They are simply trying to be obedient to their faith.

Tolerance … the gays scream.

No God … the atheists yell.

What do you hear those of faith screaming or yelling?

You hear silence.

You hear a silent tolerance until they are forced to stand up for their faith.

When it comes to that …. they will stand up for their faith.. after all… what is faith if you fail it when it is tested?

Tolerance.

It is time for silence and tolerance from those screaming and yelling.

Thank you, Governor Pence …. for standing tall for those who have been so quietly tolerant as they attempt to run their lives in peace.

Thank you for facing the reality of what is becoming a real threat to the religious freedom of every faithful American.

By the way… this law is a backup for the federal Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993 which was signed into law by Democratic president Bill Clinton. It unanimously passed the House of Representatives, where it was sponsored by then-congressman Chuck Schumer, and sailed through the Senate on a 97-3 vote.

Bill Clinton says religious freedom is “the most precious of all American liberties..” and signs the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 11993.

The main stream media once again gets it all wrong and works to cause division within this country.
