It is funny how anything and everything can be spun to look good for the one who is so desperately needing to look good on all fronts .. never mind what it is doing to everyone and everything behind that front.
In this case .. Obama has a great response to the fact that his approval ratings are dropping .. and dropping quite fast…..
JIM LEHRER: Mr. President, it must have been a little unpleasant for you to wake up this morning and see this headline: Washington Post poll shows Obama slipping on key issues, approval rating on health care falls below 50 percent. What’s that mean?
U.S. PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: It means that what we’re doing is hard and, you know, the truth is I feel pretty good about the fact that our polls have held up under extraordinarily difficult circumstances. You know, I think we may have set a very high bar for ourselves. Normally at 59 percent, folks would say, “We’ll take it.”
Below 50%. .. Obama .. not 59%.
I guess it never occurs to him it may be such hard work for him because the people just do not wnat what he is so generously offering with our money.
We the American people are rather jealous of our freedom and don’t appreciate anyone threatening it in any shape or form.
National health care is a definite threat to our freedom .. in a huge way… and yes.. it would be hard work to try to ram something down our throats again that no one .. not even Obama himself … has read thoroughly or understands.
Obama really does have a single track mind and he must seriously believe that he really is the only one who knows what everyone needs… or… he is so drunk on power that he will not allow a thing to stand in his way of acquiring more and more and more.
The latter seems to fit in with his modus operandi thus far.
It doesn’t seem to matter what kind of lies he tells the people either.. but he has under estimated we the people in thinking we would be fooled forever.
Every freedom loving American should be \thankful this has become such hard work for Obama.
