Can anyone make any sense out of what is coming out of Washington D.C. today? Well … maybe not just from Washington.

I don’t know where  President Jimmy Carter is these days.

How anyone can take anything that has been going on and turn it .. all of it .. into “racism” as the cause of it all.. is just plainly pure madness. What is happening to this country at the hands of the manipulating liars in Washington is incredible. I use the word liars not to try to discredit anyone. They have done that to themselves by being liars. That there may be people …. American people.. who actually fall in line with whatever they say .. is beyond believable.

Is it the end result of the dumbing down of America?

That  dumbing down began years ago when TV began to rule everyone’s homes. It became the heartbeat of the family with idiotic mindless “comedies” of the day ..   nonsensical movies based on either a practically plot less chase of sex or violence.  Was that the beginning of the revival of illiteracy in America?

It began in our public schools with “new math” and a better way of teaching the three “r”s… or not teaching them at all. Perhaps that was the beginning of the revival of illiteracy in America. Somewhere along the way history and any true depth of thinking became a novelty.

It began with parents believing their children could do no wrong .. and even if they did.. it surely was not their fault.  Someone else instigated it.

It began with men and women throwing away their marriage vows .. then somehow asking their children to believe they were somehow in the right doing so.

It began with the devaluing of human life in every way imaginable through drugs and alcohol and and cheap sex.

It began with the demeaning of the meaning and teachings of God.

It has resulted in a madness never seen before in this country… by a segment of our population that has lost all touch with all common sense and reason.

We can see the results.  They do not have to be spelled out.  Those who don’t see them are the ones who follow blindly like sheep in the path of idiocy that threatens to undo everything this country has fought to be and has been since the day our independence was declared.

The madness in Washington needs to be stopped.

The power is in the voting booths. It always has been and it will be again.

There is a reason America is the greatest country on earth. Americans hold a value to freedom that makes them tough and resilient… and when push comes to shove .. you know that shove will be there.

The madness you see in Washington today represents far far less than the majority in this great country of ours.

That is where our strength lies.
