In December of 2008 … 40,000 or more home based child daycare owners in Michigan were welcomed into the Union and told as of January 1, 2009 a percentage of any money they recieved from the state covering daycare for children of parents whose income qualified them for that aid would be taken out of that money to cover “union dues”.
For the great majority of those daycare owners .. it was a stunning jolt.
About 6000 daycare owners voted in the unionization process.
In that process a shell corporation was formed through a state funded college in Flint , Mott College, and all home daycare owners in the state were drawn into that corporation as state “employees”. They were then “organized” into the union… the AFSCME and the UAW.
The Mackinaw Group, a citizen’s watch group, filed a suit in the name of four daycare owners against the state Department of Human Services … claiming the shell corporation was illegally formed , the daycare owners were not anyone’s employees.
The case was dismissed. An appeal was also dismissed.
John Stossel interviewed the director of the Mackinaw Group … Patrick Wright … which you can see below.

Now with free legal aid from National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation attorneys, another group of daycare owners has taken up the fight, filing a class action lawsuit against government union officials and Governor Granholm’s Administration for illegally forcing them to pay union dues… as you can read here.
There is only one direction a country can go in when the govenment and the big unions work together to go against the people.
We all know what direction that is.
We need to awake to what is going on all around this nation at the hands of this administration and those who align themselves with it… such as Governor Granholm of Michigan.
Our greatest voice is our vote.
We need to let that voice be heard loudly and clearly and do all we can to make everyone aware of the fact that each move that is made such as this one in Michigan is one more move against our freedom.
Stand up .. America.
Our freedom has been very preciously bought at the highest price anything could be bought with .. the lives of our fellow men .. who bravely gave up those lives so we can be free.
Don’t ever allow those lives to have been given in vain.
