Now that the government has gotten its hands deeper into the airline industry .. we can all be sure of more flight cancellations than ever before.

You see… the government has seen fit to make sure none of us ever have to sit on an airplane in the tarmac more than three hours again … but .. if we do .. then that airline which owns that airplane will pay a fine of $27,500 PER passenger for that delay…. twenty seven thousand five hundred dollars.

What would you do if you were that airline?  Risk the fine or cancel the flight?

Once again … government rule insures us of more chaos.

The simple solution was to allow the airlines to make known to the public by their actions which is best .. allowing the consumer to pick the airline they feel is the best for their needs.

Once again …  the government tells us we are all too ignorant to know how to make those decisions so they will “fix” it for us.

Now for sure we can wonder and worry about that next flight.

Once more … a touch of madness… and even more so when you look at the law that governs this and see how much more paper work each airline is being given which will in turn cost them more money which will in turn no doubt be passed on to we the consumers in the form of higher tickets.

Once more the government costs us more money … and an unknown amount of added inconvenience.
