Obama And Our Bill Of Rights

In the midst of the broad takeover of everything in our country that Obama is attempting to accomplish through his healthcare bill, his cap and trade bill and the appointment of his dozens of czars which answer only to him (who seem to be busy deciding what is best for all of us and reporting such to Obama)  allowing Obama to bypass the Congress completely … a question should arise in each one of us who value our independence … our hard won independence.

The Tenth Amendment of the Bill of Rights is written as follows…

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.

Proposal after proposal by Obama and his administration and his czars tears that amendment to shreds.

Where do they take the power from to do that?

Who gives the government power to…..

…. run our healthcare?

…. take over privately or publicly held companies?

,,, shut down private companies?

… tell companies what they can pay their employees?

…. act as though our money is theirs to spend at will?

…set up any agencies solely for the purpose of regulating consumer activity or business activity?

Who gives our government the power to tell any businees how they must operate?

… tell consumers what is best for them?

…freely spend our money on international jaunts and luxury vacations for themselves, families or mistresses as though they have credit cards in their names authorized by we the ones who earn the money through honest hard work?

… regulate our lives in any way?

Who?

Where has Obama and his administration taken the power from that it believes it has in its hands in this attempt to rule every aspect of our lives?

It leaves no guessing about why so many states are reclaiming their sovereignty… and it brings to the foreground the reason this country was established in the first place …. the reason for the Revolutionary War.

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.
