Obama can fly at the drop of a hat to Copenhagen.. he can take four helicopters or whatever it was to New York for a date night then change the next date night to a nearby average priced “common man” eatery …. to counteract the negative reaction to the extravagnace of the New York date … all paid for by you and I?
He can put the lives of our soldiers on the line while he puts Gen. McCrystal on hold while he .. Obama .. mulls what he will do with his.. the General’s .. request for more troops in his report of the war progress.
What is he weighing?
Just what does Obama stand for … just who is he?
He had no problem taking over the banks .. the car companies. He had no problem taking on all his czars. Yet .. when it comes to a matter of our country’s security…. fighting those who would see us destroyed.. he hems and haws.
Obama had not spoken to McChrystal once since May until that fact was reported for all the world to know .. yet he was “furious” with him for speaking out about what was needed in Afghanistan. Whom in Obama’s list of people did McChrystal offend?
Where is the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces?
McChrystal must be asking himself that over and over.
Obama is no leader.
He is being pushed … whether by the polls through his own great ego .. or by people through what is owed them .. he is being pushed.
He is no leader. He does nothing through the power of his own convictions … and certainly nothing because it is simply in the best interest of this country.
He does not even stand by those very people he has appointed to do his work for him.
Ego equals show.
Favors owed equals push.
Nothing lies beneath that.
