When a person sitting in the Oval Office of our White House can denigrate our Supreme Court … you know that person cannot go any lower … and each of the Democrats who jumped up and roared their approval as Obama did just that in his State of the Union address last night … sank  just as low as Obama.

Obama stated in no uncertain terms  exactly what he thought of the Supreme Court.

He did not like the ruling they made in favor of the First Amendment so he obviously felt that gave him the right to let the world know just how incompetent our Supreme Court is .. lying in the process about what the Supreme Court did … saying they ruled to allow foreign powers to monetarily back our candidates.

The ruling they handled had nothing to do with that.

No president in history has ever gone so low… at least nothing that is recorded in history .. and it surely would have been just as this will.

Obama lied through this whole speech .. but that is not anything new for him.

He blamed Bush again .. of course .. lying in the amount he stated the deficit was when Bush left office.

By the time I took office, we had a one year deficit of over $1 trillion and projected deficits of $8 trillion over the next decade. Most of this was the result of not paying for two wars, two tax cuts, and an expensive prescription drug program. On top of that, the effects of the recession put a $3 trillion hole in our budget. All this was before I walked in the door.

The deficit was about $580 billion .. not over a trillion.

Also.. he didn’t say one thing about how maybe this is all the fault of the Democrats who have ruled Congress since 2006.

Concerning lobbyists … Obama said  …  “We face a deficit of trust — deep and corrosive doubts about how Washington works that have been growing for years.  To close that credibility gap, we have to take action on both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue — to end the outsized influence of lobbyists; to do our work openly; to give our people the government they deserve.”

Yet .. one of the first things Obama did today was invite K Street insiders..  .. “selected individuals” .. to join private briefings on a range of topics addressed in Wednesday’s State of the Union… private confenence calls.

The invitation read….

“The White House is encouraging you to participate in these calls and will have a question and answer session at the end of each call. As a reminder, these calls are not intended for press purposes.”

More backroom closed door meetings…. with one call being on .. of all things.. transparency.

I guess he didn’t really “lie” when he said he gave everyone a tax break … for if pressed perhaps the $300 or $600 checks he had sent to everyone could have been used to pay taxes or said to replace money paid for taxes.

It certainly was not what he seemed to want to imply it was ….  a tax cut.

How can we possibly hold him to his vow to allow more drilling of oil off our coasts etc?  That would be quite a feat.

How about the “clean” nuclear plants he said we need to build .. the “clean” coal?

He promised to pay every child’s college fees.  Great.

Was this in the same sentence in which he promised to cut spending?That did not mean stop spending now.  Of course not.  There is way too much he has to spend money on now.  He will stop next year … and that of course will be at the levels this year’s spending rises to.

Whew.

All in all…. the speech was a terrible embarrassment coming from someone who sits in the most powerful seat in the world … an awful embarrassment for our country .. a huge whine from the person sitting in the Oval Office of our White House.

Most of all  .. it was sad to realize finally without a doubt that Obama has no repect for anyone other than for himself and not even a begrudging tolerance for those who would bow at his feet for they are expected to.

He has total disdain for all others.

Till now.. there was a nagging thought that maybe .. just maybe .. there is a smidgeon of hope that he may learn something yet.

That smidgeon was washed away last night.

For him to castigate the Supreme Court as he did is what once and for all washed it away …  without a doubt.
