Our Health Care Has Become A Commodity

Our health care has become nothing more than a commodity in the eyes of some senators in Washington.

Just how far  could $300 million dollars go toward giving those so-called millions of Americans who are out of health care …. good health care?

That is the amount of money supposedly by her own admittance Louisiana’s senator Mary Landrieu was given in extra money for her state  in return for her vote to push Obama’s health care plan through the Senate to the nezt step.

She wasn’t the only one who won concessions in return for their vote.

Ben Nelson won the omission of a provision that would strip health insurers of their anti-trust exemption. Blanche Lincoln won more time.

In the latest Rasmussen poll on health care .. it is shown the public is far more against a national run health care plan than for it.

Does that seem to matter to the Democrats in the Senate .. or in the House for that matter?  The seem to have forgotten they work  for we the people .. not for Obama.

There are threats.  That has been acknowledged by senator Blance Lincoln of Arkansas .. who stated she was shocked by the “unbelievable type of threats”  she had received concerning her vote.

When did we the people stop being a factor in this mess in Washington?

Power has always been a big part of the Washington scene.  It now seems as though it has overtaken every aspect of any concern those elected have for the people who put them there.

They can say what they want.  They can do what they want.  What we the people say has become a non factor.

The simple fact of the matter is before the Senate vote on Saturday night .. only 38% of we the people were approving a government plan according to Rasmussen.

Perhaps by now that has even gone lower.

The senators know.  Have you tried calling the Capitol building lately.. or your senator in Washington?  The circuits are overloaded.

They know.  Why do they not care?

They are using our health care as a commodity for their own use.

Who will hold out for the best offer for their vote nezt?  How much more will this health care plan cost us beyond the scope of the trillions it will cost in just implementing it?

Where has the conscience of the Democrats in the Senate gone?

Our health care is the top money maker of the moment in Congress.

How much has your senator won?
