Nancy Pelosi has vowed to shield her people in the House .. to keep them from having to “stick their necks our” in controversial votes for the people.
She is doing this for one reason only of course .. to help protect their seats … their jobs.
You see … taking the hard stand on issues … voting for or against them despite what the American people are voicing they want but because of what power and control it will bring … is something Pelosi expects “her” people in the House to do … and in doing that they of course put themselves at risk of being voted out much much sooner than they would like.
Did we elect our lawmakers to do what is right for we the American people or did we vote them in to use their power to gain more power… voting to satisfy whoever they must to gain that power … never mind what the people want .. or how their votes may affect the people?
The latter is what the Democrats seem to work for today.
Just when was the crossover made? When did our politicians finally make the full break… from servant of the people to power and control over the people?
Greed and lust for honor and power has always been a part of politics of course .. but today it seems that it has taken over every aspect of many in Washington.
Of course … “politicians” never have worked for the people.
“Representatives” have.
There is a difference.
Politicians say whatever they have to say to get elected into the roles they then use to their complete advantage in every way … to satisfy their greed and lust for power and honor. They watch the polls to make sure they are saying the right things … changing what they say according to what the polls say.
Meaning what they say has nothing to do with anything>
Right and wrong seems to mean nothing to them.
Representatives say what they mean and do what is right for America.
Polls matter not at all to them. They do what they feel they were elected to do by the people. They listen to the voices of the people… and they do what is right for America.
The integrity of America and preserving America and all we stand for is their top priority … preserving our freedom and our way of life.
The politicians hardly seem to portray they have any idea of what that is.
They certainly do not work with that goal in mind.
Satisfying their leader seems to be the top goal … no matter what the cost to the people may be.
Of course .. by doing this .. they in turn get someone like Pelosi doing whatever she can to protect their jobs.
You would think it would be easier to just do what they were elected to do … which I think most would agree to be to work to preserve the reason this country was begun in the first place …. which was to become free of an overly stifling oppressive government.
