Caterpillar annouced that the passing of Obamacare would cost them $100 million dollars in the first year. Verizon said it would cause them to most likely cut healthcare benefits to employees to pay for what it will cost them. Meditronic said the new tax on its products will cause them to lay off thousands of employees. AT&T says it will post a $1 billion dollar non-cash ezpense in the first quarter related to the healthcare bill. John Deere says it will suffer… as all companies will.
Now the government has come down and ordered these companies to come to a hearing to tell this government how in the world their analyses … the companies’… could be so wrong… The Empire Strikes Back …which they obviously must be because the government said this bill will reduce costs and expand healthcare. How dare these companies say it will do just the opposite?
Interesting. How will Waxman et al turn these company CEO’s into liars?
They will somehow of course.. because as you know .. they … the self annointed “one” in Washington and all of his clinging shadow … know what is right. It matters not what numbers or facts or truth says.
He says so they… the shadow.. knows.
