Senator Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) .. one of the group of six who are supposedly working on a bipartisan conclusion to the healthcare bebaucle .. has come up with a sure fire way to obtain the public option which so many many Americans do not want and continue to fight against.
It is easy.
Set up a standard that the health insurance companies are mandated by government to live up to by a certain date.
If they do not comply by that date … then the public option of healthcare automatically takes over.
Done. Over. No debate. No vote. The health insurance companies would then be toast.
What could be simpler than that? Just make sure the government sets the mandates at a level it knows the insurance companies cannot possibly reach.
Straight forward … no muss no fuss .

What in the world do they know about health care and what is best for them?
Just knew there had to be a way of getting what is best for them one way or another .. in spite of their ill informed wishes!

The government should be working for you? Oh come on. Since when do any of you know better than we in the government know about anything? You should be thanking us.
