The fight against the Obama administration’s agenda is showing signs of success.

A biggie here…  a vote to ban degrading treatment of  detainees that was written into the classified intelligence budget was stopped …  Republicans stop the vote because they opposed what they saw as backdoor legislation that would impose fines and prison terms on intelligence officers who abuse captured terrorism suspects.

Air America .. the left wing talk show .. couldn’t make is so now Obama has ordered the development of an online tool to push his supporters to call in to the popular talk shows of the day and voice their opinions .. especially on healthcare … then report their “encounters” back to the “organizers”.    He calls it “Organizing For America”.

The Democrats are beginning to question rightly their own bills… House Democrats struggle to find support for Senate passed jobs bill….. They should be stalling it … for wasn’t the “pay-go” bill just passed?  This jobs bill falls completely out of the “pay-go” agenda.

Democrat Senators now are proposing to drop the ‘cap and trade”  bill that the House already passed.  That is a biggie that should never ever have even been…. but they need to abandon it completely… not revamp it….  but at least they are cutting their time short to accomplish anything with it … as November draws nearer each day… Senators to propose abandoning cap-and-trade.

Weather gives us the best evidence against global warming and its mantra … more snow and more and more…..

Now this is just ridiculous… and shows what an awful effect this administration and its promises of everything for nothing have caused.  How long must we support all those who have become nice and comfortable living on government money?  Jobs can be found .. even if one must relocate temporarily .. or permanently. Unemployment group wants Bunning ousted from Baseball Hall of Fame

Freedom means everything .. even the freedom to live in poverty if that is what you choose.

Miscellaneous update … and this is a sad sign of degression.. not success.. and these are the Olympic games.. a very sad statement of our society today… Rowdy curling crowds, spontaneous street parties, public drunkeness. You don’t have to look far for evidence that the crowds at Winter Games in Vancouver know how to have a good time.
