Stop The Blame Game

The blame game is applied to anything that goes off line in someone’s eyes … and it includes everything these days from politics to murder.

It is time to stop it.

The most public blame game in a while has been by this administration against President Bush .. a continuation of course from the eight years before.

No details have to be dug into concerning that.  We are all well aware of how that game has been played.

Perhaps the next most prominent will be people blaming anything they can for the shootings at Fort Hood instead of putting the blame solely where it belongs .. on the shooter.

This is what has to stop.

In Obama’s case … does he step back and say perhaps he is trying the wrong things?

No.  He blames Bush.

In the Fort Hood case … how can anyone or anything be blamed other than the perpetrator?

We are all responsible for our actions.

We all come from our own stories as children.  It does not matter.  Adults are adults and need to act as such.

If adults remain children in adult clothing .. having never grown up .. the blame game becomes a way of life and that becomes deadly.  It makes excuses for behavior that then can go downhill like a snowball … giving more adults reason to exhibit their own stupid actions.

When you come right down to it …  the blame game is simply the top gimmick in denial.  It goes beyond denial right to lying .. and it matters not who is hurt by it.

We are living in a time when lying means nothing. It is who can lie and get away with it that seems to count.

In the case of this administration .. the whole country is being hurt by it.  There is not one person who will benefit other than the liars themselves .. for ultimately their lies are for just that reason alone .. to gain for themselves that which they strive for using any means they can put their hands on to reach their goal.

Of course .. it was Americans lying to themselves who voted for these people and put them there in the first place.  Those people listened to the lies of everything for nothing and lied to themselves so they could pretend to believe it and they got what they asked for and all will suffer the consequences.

After all .. every healthy minded adult knows nothing is for nothing.

In the case of the perpetrator of the Fort Hood massacre … it is he alone who is to blame for those murders.  To blame something other than the perpetrator gives an open road to the next person who will come along with the same goal as his were.

Is there anyone who has not heard the old saying …. “.. oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive?” by Sir Walter Scott?

It applies to every human being everywhere.

All we need do is look around us … read our national news .. listen to our politicians … to see how tangled and corrupt that web has become… so much so that when the truth is brought to light .. it is persecuted and threatened as if it were the enemy.

Of course .. to those who lie.. that is exactly what the truth is.

It becomes the liar’s most deadly enemy .. and if the blame game had to stop .. where would that leave them .. the liars?  They would have to see them as others see them .. the emporers with no clothes.

Look in the mirror … stop the blame game … grow up.

We are all adults here are we not?

An afterthought ….  it makes one wonder what in the world those adults teach their children?
