Are the Republicans being smart here … in dealing with the financial reform bill the Senate is attempting to pass … or are they serious about what they ask for?

One way to make sure those dying embers keep fading.
With yesterdays’ primary results .. those dying embers look dimmer and dimmer… while Obama tries to pretend the results really have nothing at all to do with him .. after all he didn’t even campaign for those who lost.
Of course.. the candidates themselves most likely didn’t wish to be seen tied too closely to Obama either.
Nice bonds those Democrats have .. with each other and with others.
Not too much of a bond left between Obama and his former pastor.. Reverend Wright .. it seems.
Hmm… swarms of bees. Apparently … Obama leaves nothing untouched .. unaffected.
The dying embers … may they continue to fade.
In the meantime .. the Republicans were doing something highly productive in the House. They passed House Resolution 1297 .. which proclaims a National Craft Beer Week.
Now that is progress.
That is our Washington.
