Toyota is taking a flogging from the administration in Washington D.C. that should be a signal to all who operate independently of this administration.
One misstep .. perhaps even perceived misstep … can bring the wrath of Obama down on your head .. and it will be used in any way possible that will lead to an Obama takeover of your life.
Just look at what happened to General Motors and Chrysler… their shareholders .. backers .. dealers.. .etc … which of course is now Obama/UAW Motors.
In this case Obama is using his bully pulpit to try to destroy the reputation of Toyota as much as he is able .. and why?
The tactics this administration uses to get its way is scary… and it has nothing at all in common with what we as Americans know to be the American way.
The congressional investigation and the “hearings” the government has called for on this “problem”… which amounts to 2000 complaints of a sticky accelerator out of some 20 million Toyota vehicles is a very eerie flashback to the “hearings” called on General Motors and Chrylser when they took a government loan .. with no idea what the immediate consequences of that would be .. which of course was disaster in the form of a total government… Obama .. takeover of the companies.
What is the push here?
There is an agenda .. there always is with Obama’s moves.. and this is of course an Obama move .. not a LaHood move.
