Polls say about 75% of Americans feel Washington is broken… but in fact Washington is working perfectly.

If you look at what has happened in the past year … since Obama took his seat in the Oval Office … it would seem as though nothing much has happened.. other than Obama going around the world letting the world know America as they have known it will no longer be … and apologizing to all for how we have been.

Yet … a lot has happened when you look at the whole picture.

First…  Obama had the majority handed to him in both the House and the Senate yet he has not been able to get one thing accomplished.  That is because the system we know to be freedom and the voice of the people has worked.  It is because those things worked that Washington was stopped.

The more Obama spoke.. the more he traveled around the globe and denigrated us … America ..with his profuse apologies .. the more he bowed down to the world in deference .. the more we .. the American people … looked at him and wondered what in the world he was doing.

As more and more of his policies were made behind closed doors… with all but his cronies allowed to be present .. the more we wondered again just what he was doing… and with each billion of dollars he spent … we began to worry and look closer.

The closer we looked the more we saw .. and we began to let our voices be heard.  If you tried to call the White House or the Capitol building in the middle of any of the high points of this past year …  to let your voice of dissent be heard concerning all Obama and the far left Democrats were attempting to do…you learned just how many others were doing the same thing ..for invariably it took phone call after phone call to get through … only to find that the mailboxes of whomever you were trying to reach were full.

We heard the voices in rallies and tea parties .. in D.C. and all over the country.

America works.  It works even with people in Washington who think they can hide what they plan to do by working behind closed doors… who think they can ignore the voice of the people and just do what they plan to do…who think they know better than the Americans themselves what is best for them.

Washington is working because America works.

America works because of the freedom we live with.  It works because of how highly we value that freedom.  It works because we know who we are and what we stand for.   It works because .. though it may take some time due to the fact we trust so easily … we eventurally see the truth no matter how much someone may try to hide it.

Those who  say Washington is not working may be saying that either because they are blind to the fact of what has happened during the course of this past year and are still blindly hanging on to Obama’s false campaign promises to them … or they are among those who are still asleep to the reality of what this nation is all about .. those who sit back in their chairs in front of their TVs and do not bother to look beyond the daily TV newscasts.

Washington not working?

If you believe that .. then how would you want it to be working?  Would you really want bipartisanship … which in other words is a compromise of our freedom?

Would you want Obama to be able to get all he has planned for us through?

Would you want Obama, Reid and Pelosi to really have the power to control all of our lives as they see fit?

Washington is working perfectly and how thankful we should all be for that… and it should be a reminder to us all of just how much our voices mean.

The hope is now that it will continue to keep working .. till we get some sense back in the offices there … come November.
