Even with the loss of the Senate seat in Massachusetts …. the biggest Senate seat loss there could possibly be for the Democrats … Obama still does not get it.
He just does not understand at all why we do not want what he is peddling.
He just does not understand American freedom at all.
If he did .. he would not be trying to “rebuild” the foundation of this country as he is … trying to turn it into a totally government run country in the fashion of Chavez.
He has no concept of American pride and where that pride comes from. If he did there is no way on earth he would have been seen bowing his way around this world .. apologizing over and over for our country.
He has no concept of how people value their independence and freedom to live and work and believe as they will with no interference at the hands of the government. He just does not know what it is to be free .. to be his own man.
If he did he could not be doing what he is attempting to do in Washington today.
Certainly if he understood American freedom and valued it he would be thankful the first step has been taken to stop himself in his path before this country lays in total ruins.
Instead … Obama is saying he just did not talk to the people enough. This after having been on 158 interviews in the past year … and given more than 400 speeches or comments or remarks to the public.
He is saying he believes he “lost touch ” with the people by not speaking directly to them… or something…
“If there’s one thing that I regret this year is that we were so busy just getting stuff done and dealing with the immediate crises that were in front of us that I think we lost some of that sense of speaking directly to the American people about what their core values are and why we have to make sure those institutions are matching up with those values,”
He just does not understand that the more he talks to the people… the more the people began to realize just what he is up to … especially many of those who voted for him thinking he meant “change” as a good thing for us all.
He just does not understand that the people are screaming “NO” to his power grabbing agenda.
He just does not understand that when the freedom of this country is jeopardized in any way .. the American people will sooner or later stand up with a roar and push back.
All those thousands upon thousands of lives given for the sake of this freedom were never given in vain.
However … Obama does say he believes he can do a better job conncecting with the people in the second year….
“I think that I can do a better job of that, and partly because I do believe that we’re in a stronger position now than we were a year ago,”
Will Obama ever ever ever catch on?
